Spoj changed its interface recently causing the scraping logic to fail. Am on way to fix it.

The plaintext version of user submissions has been restricted to private access by SPOJ. Now a user can only access his own plaintext user submission list. This was earlier used to compute almost all the stats of the user using just a single HTTP request. I have mailed spoj asking clarification if this change was a result of a bug or deliberate. waiting for reply.

Since fetching and parsing submission history pages is not feasible, I can modify spojtool to use whatever user data which is available for comparison between users.
