Someone added this option specifically because it didn't work on Mac otherwise.

When I do make on my MacBook (Mavericks) it gives the following error:

wget: unrecognized option `--no-check-certificate'
Usage: wget [OPTION]... [URL]...

Try `wget --help' for more options.
git clone -n -- `awk 'BEGIN { FS = "\t" }; $1 == "cowlib" { print $2 }' /Users/floris/cowboy2/.erlang.mk.packages.v1` /Users/floris/cowboy2/deps/cowlib
awk: can't open file /Users/floris/cowboy2/.erlang.mk.packages.v1
 source line number 1
fatal: repository '/Users/floris/cowboy2/deps/cowlib' does not exist
make: *** [/Users/floris/cowboy2/deps/cowlib] Error 128

When I remove --no-check-certificate it works.
But no problem, I can edit my own repo.
Just thought you should know, thanks.

Where did you get wget? It's been an option for it for a very long time now. I think other people got it from homebrew. But I don't know Mac so yeah you're probably on your own there.

I'm not sure, I probably have an old version or something...
Best thing is for me to update wget I suppose.
Thanks for your help.
