This sometimes happens on Python 3.4:

=================================== FAILURES ===================================
____________________________ test_reconst_mmri_both ____________________________
args = (), kwargs = {}
    def skipper_func(*args, **kwargs):
        """Skipper for normal test functions."""
        if skip_val():
            raise SkipTest(get_msg(f, msg))
        else:
>           return f(*args, **kwargs)
../venv/lib/python3.4/site-packages/numpy/testing/_private/decorators.py:155:

    reconst_mmri_core(ReconstMAPMRIFlow, lap=True, pos=True)
../venv/lib/python3.4/site-packages/dipy/workflows/tests/test_reconst_mapmri.py:94: in reconst_mmri_core
    positivity=pos, out_dir=out_dir)
/opt/python/3.4.6/lib/python3.4/unittest/case.py:181: in __exit__
    self._raiseFailure("{} not raised".format(exc_name))
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
self = <unittest.case._AssertRaisesContext object at 0x7fe904c8f2b0>
standardMsg = 'BaseException not raised'
    def _raiseFailure(self, standardMsg):
        msg = self.test_case._formatMessage(self.msg, standardMsg)
>       raise self.test_case.failureException(msg)
E       AssertionError: BaseException not raised
/opt/python/3.4.6/lib/python3.4/unittest/case.py:130: AssertionError

It seems intermittent, because restarting Travis jobs often makes it go away. But it has now happened on a few occasions.

It seems that, sometimes, an exception is not thrown during this test. We need to find which one and why.
