I have decided to use Google Analytics for this website in order to know how many of you are interested in this project.

As per the Google Analytics Terms Of Service Section 7, I must inform you the use of cookies and anonymous traffic data to obtain the statistics. Please see Google Analytics Overview if you are curious what Google Analytics is.

Try one of the following options if you don’t like to be tracked by google and still like to browse this website:

Turn off Javascript.

For Firefox users, install Adblock Plus and add this filter:
.google-analytics
.

For Firefox users, install Ghostery.

Block
google-analytics.com
somehow.

Let me know if you know a good option for IE,Opera,Safari, etc. I’m not sure whether I can recommend Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on or Chrome if you don’t trust google in the first place.

Personally I would not care, and I believe most of you don’t too. But please note that many websites (and most of the personal ones) that use Google Analytics don’t even have a privacy policy which is mandatory under the Google Analytics Terms Of Service.
