Text not copied to Linux clipboard when selected #6

Usually any text selected anywhere is added to the clipboard under Linux. Since version 1.5.0 this no longer works correctly when selecting link text using the add-on, nothing is added to the clipboard.

Might seem like a minor issue but it's quite annoying to have to remember to manually copy the text when you're not used to ever doing that.

Thanks for creating (and rewriting as a WebExtension!) this add-on, couldn't live without it man. Really hope this can be fixed though, for now I've reverted to 1.4.1.

Unfortunately Firefox's middle-click paste does not recognize programmatic selections (Bug 1015877) which is all that is available to WebExtensions. This is intentional to avoid unwanted selection buffer loss (Bug 924069) but there should be an exception for user-initiated events. Chrome reportedly manages to do this without issues.
