Nmap 7.70 cannot retrieve authentication methods from a ssh server if the host does not support ssh-rsa nor ssh-dss.

Step to reproduce:

  1. Configure a OpenSSH server with only ed25519 public key support
  • This can be done through commenting out other public keys in sshd_config
  1. Run nmap ssh-auth-methods <host>
  2. nmap will either segfault (due to a double free bug fixed in master) or report error

This feature can be implemented by upgrading libssh2 to 1.9 (not released yet). libssh2 1.8.1 has the implementation but not enabled by default (and iirc cannot be enabled without patching the source).
