Before I explain and describe my problems with Nmap, here is the information about my computers.

  1. Virtual machine#1:
    -OS: Kali Linux (Kali rolling)

  2. Virtual machine#2:
    -OS: Windows 10 (Microsoft Corporation)

Descriptions (problem):
First of all, I installed Kali Linux and Windows 10 machines in Virtual Box. Thus, I have two virtual machines. The first one is my Kali virtual machine, and the other one is my Windows 10 virtual machine.

I used the nmap command to test and detect my OS information of the Windows 10, but when I scanned "nmap -O," it should provide me the Microsoft Windows 10 as an OS information; however, it rather gave me other information, such as Windows XP 7.

After this, I spent and searched on the internet, I tried another solution to resolve this problem, which was "nmap -O --osscan-guess."
Even though I experimented and tried different ways to solve this, I got the same error.

Consequently, I leave a comment here to get some feedback to solve this problem. Could you give me some feedback on this problem?

Thanks.
