Npcap 1.86 various BSOD in NPF_DoTap #831
Description
Due to corruption in the list of BPF filters (NPCAP_FILTER_MODULE.BpfPrograms), various crashes have been observed in about 5% of systems in a particular configuration running proprietary software, as reported by a Npcap OEM licensee. The crashes have included DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, all at various points within NPF_DoTap().
We have identified a potential cause for this issue, so related changes will be tagged under this issue.
