rdio-compare

This command line app lets you compare an Rdio library with a local iTunes library xml file. This let's you see what albums you have on Rdio that you do not own a copy of in iTunes.

Install Dependencies

bundle install

Setup Rdio Credentials

Sign up for a developer account at http://developer.rdio.com/ and apply for an API key. Then, add your key and shared secret to the credentials file and rename it:

mv rdio_consumer_credentials_EXAMPLE.rb rdio_consumer_credentials.rb

Run

ruby compare.rb rdio_username /local/path/to/itunes/xml/file

Output

An ordered list of all albums missing in iTunes, formatted as "Artist - Album". A total count of albums is also shown.
