image-scaling-example

Image Scaler is a simple example MIDlet for Series 40 devices, demonstrating the use of different image scaling algorithms and allowing their comparison in both performance and quality.

The example utilises three different scaling algorithms implemented with Java:

  • Linear interpolation
  • Bilinear interpolation
  • Pixel mixing

1. Compatibility

Series 40 touch and type and full touch devices. Tested to work on Nokia Asha 311. Developed with Nokia SDK for Java 2.0.
