When I tried to sign up, the website threw this error :
There was a problem! The server said: Failed creating account.
CouchDB said: not_found
Thinking that I might have already registered, I tried to reset my password and I got this error :

I'm getting this error as well. Please fix this...
I found a workaround for now.
Run this in your terminal to register.
Browse to the nodejs project folder and run this code to publish the code to npm.
@shaneGirish Looks like the workaround works. Thanks!
I'd love to do that but I have this problem in addition: npm/npm#2808
Workaround aside, account creation and password retrieval is definitely still broken on npmjs.org
Ran into this yesterday. It would be nice to have a notice on the signup page until it's fixed.
Does anyone know if account password reset, etc, is fixed on npmjs.org yet? I created an account for our company, we posted an initial package, but we can no longer post updated packages, it complains that we are not authorized. I created the account, I am the one pushing the packages, but the npm site seems screwed up.
Password reset should be working fine. Let me know if there are still any issues.
Not able to reset the password which is leading to not able to update my package
@prathamesh7pute Are you entering your email address in the form? You should be entering your username. If your username has capital letters in it, you'll need to create one that is lower case, and I can switch your packages over to it.
Thanks @isaacs Now its working fine I am able to reset my password and able to see my packages, but it was broken for sometime.
