Shit happens on the internet - MS Azure's platform has been down to about 24 hours for example

Deal with it

@jbueza - no, but I use it as an example of worse things happen on the internet than npm going down - its a free service provided to the community, people need to stop feeling so self-entitled (and also learn to search github for their needs - you don't need npm to install stuff for node)

@tanepiper I don't think it's so much about self entitlement as it is about letting @isaacs know so it can be fixed. Notice here - http://npmjs.org/doc/faq.html it says to open an issue if the registry is down. No need to come down so hard.

@tanepiper ah :o) I read "Azure" and immediately thought of the downtime being associated to npm registry being down as well. :)
