I have a package A which has package B as dependency and vice versa.

Both packages are published to the npm registry.

When running "npm install" from src/packageA it will install packageB into it's node_modules.

PackageB won't install packageA into it's node_modules since it's installed from src/packageA.

The issue is that packageB won't find packageA when it requiring it.

I have to do something like this to make it work:

ln -s ./src ./node_modules

It would be great if people could git clone packageA and run "npm test" (which is using packageB) without having to fiddle with "ln -s".

It sounds similar to #2063.
