Getting lots of 401's #2631

Just published this package within the hour... then I try to update to no avail.

In the meantime, delete the _token line from your ~/.npmrc file.

Didn't quite work. Had to delete the whole file then re-run npm adduser. Thanks.

Still experiencing this problem every time I publish. I assume this is fixed in the next release?

Yes, it is. To pull just the npm bits, you can do npm install npm -g.

I just ran into this problem. The above worked for me, too. :)
