Getting this exact error doing "npm search one" on a node freshly installed via homebrew (recently 'brew update'-d).

$ node -v
v0.8.8
$ npm -v
1.1.59

Seems to be that repeat.js's package.json has an array for the description.

Update: I opened a pull request at repeat.js to address this on their side.
