Dear Team,
We are planning to use Node.js for our AngularJS unit testing.
We have successfully installed Node.js on Windows.
But we stuck while installing Karma on Node using npm install –g karma
PFA Console.log file, npm-debug.log file and .npmrc file (which is in my user profile folder) for your kind perusal..

Please find below the version which we are using for Node.js and NPM.
Node.js Version: v0.10.25
Npm version: 1.3.24

Could you please help us to resolution of this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Is this still a problem for you?

It looks like your proxy server is intercepting requests to ; you might need to get help from your local IT staff to get the http_proxy url set correctly.

There have been a lot of improvements to npm -- especially around conflicts and race conditions during install -- since 1.3.24. Can you try updating your npm installation?

To update npm on Windows, follow the instructions here:

We are trying to clean up older npm issues, so if we don't hear back from you within a week, we will close this issue. (Don't worry -- you can always come back again and open a new issue!)

Closing as abandoned / resolved. Proxy support is vastly improved in newer versions of npm@2 (although it's still not perfect yet). Upgrade!
