Also, maybe the user could type a search string, and it could use npm.commands.search to search for it, and then let them pick one of the options or something.
So would this be for creating a package.json file for a service like heroku? I am looking for a command that would just create the file for me but npm init seems to ignore all of the files in node_modules/ and doesn't list them as dependencies.
@RyanS That's correct, yes. You can do npm install blah -S to save it to the package.json file, but sometimes you don't do npm init first.
npm install blah -S
This is done, in / by init-package-json.
