why not make it case-insensitive, may be it will more convenient for input

e.g.
enter:

fmt.prin

then call omni( <c-x><c-o> on vim)

fmt.prin
    func Print(a ...interface{}) (n int, err error)
    func Printf(format string, a ...interface{}) (n int, err error)
    func Println(a ...interface{}) (n int, err error)

when select some one, and cover it to case-sensitive

Gocode falls back to case-insensitive filtering when there are no case-sensitive matches. And in fact the vim is one of editors where it should work as you've described even right now. Works for me.

See this issue for details: #91
