I just installed git flow on an ubuntu 12.04 desktop via the gitflow-installer.sh mentioned on this page: https://github.com/nvie/gitflow/wiki/Linux
When I run git flow version, it now outputs
init: Need to be root
That first line is rather scarily implying it's calling the init(8) program - is it trying to reboot my machine?!
I'm on OS X 10.9.1 and got an init message when I tried to check the version:
~ : git flow version
usr/local/bin/git-flow: line 118: init: command not found
This is fixed in my fork git-flow (AVH Edition)
My fork has diverged to much to make this into an easy pull request for nvie's gitflow,
Checkout the changelog for more information about bugfixes and new features implemented in my fork.
