More control over position of slices

Hi Thomas @oberbichler,

Was looking at your component for slicing & slotting (waffle) and was wondering if there is a way to have a bit more control over the position of the slices. I'm less interested in having a specific amount of slices but rather looking for a specific offset and I would like my slices to appear at specific points. Are their ways to solve this using Bowerbird?

Hi,

Maybe the slice component fits for this task. You can define planes. Connections are created at the intersection lines. This can be used, for example, to create irregular waffle patterns.

Thanks Thomas! I should have looked further… BB Section allows for total control over the slicing planes and then makes sense that Waffle is super straight forward. Dries
