Make sure you use Java 21:
sudo update-alternatives --config java
sudo update-alternatives --config javac
Or use SDKMAN!.
During development, run in debug mode:
make all debugin one terminal to start a fresh empty agate REST server on HTTP port 8081 or HTTPS port 8444
