The term "medial orbital frontal cortex" exists in NIFSTD [1], but not in Uberon. The term details are:
Definition: Component of the orbtial frontal cortex. The rostral boundary is the first slice where the medial orbital gyrus became visible whereas the caudal boundary is the disappearance of the medial orbital gyrus/gyrus rectus. The medial and lateral boundaries are the cingulate cortex on the 'inflated' surface and the medial bank of the superior frontal gyrus (or the cingulate gyrus when visible) respectively (Christine Fennema-Notestine).
Parent Term: Regional part of brain (http://ontology.neuinfo.org/NIF/BiomaterialEntities/NIF-GrossAnatomy.owl#birnlex_1167)
** New synonym proposal from Russ Poldrack: frontal medial cortex

An equivalent statement to "map" these terms should also be added to the NIFSTD/Uberon Bridge file.

Note: Neuronames ID in nlx and NIFGA appears to be wrong or at least on the wrong level.

The UMLS ID is also for frontal lobe

What is the Uberon ID --> Found the ID, UBERON:0022352

Was the synonym "frontal medial cortex" added?

Sorry, all tickets are closed with a commit. Click on where it says "NT: ..."

This commit also incorporated some previous changes, normally they are more atomic.

  • commit messages reflect changes in the edit version. Release typically follows within one week
  • bridge files regenerated as part of the release. This is automatic

Added the syn, but can you confirm this is correct? Seems too general a syn.
