Always show all organisations, repositories and labels in the side bar #1542

When a pinned search is selected, the sidebar is reduced to items only related to the results notifications, if no results are there there are also no other items in the sidebar, which causes in some instances a short burst of adrenalin, because for a moment it seems all notifications are gone. An example:

It would be nice if the sidebar items would persist throughout any results and only change their count to indicate that only a certain amount of notifications from that repo match. A rough and simple solution could look like this:

I hear this, and I've had that particular jitter too. But I would prefer to close up repos that have no notifications currently in view. So perhaps we collapse repos down to owners if there are no repos with notifications in the current filtered list?
