Public price list which has a discount set with a minimum quantity work perfect on orders / quotations however on POS module it only work without the quantity limitation.

Expected behavior:
Product price on POS module should get updated when to reflect the minimum quantity rule preset in public price list in the same way as orders / quotations

Hi,
Unfortunately the point of sale does not support this feature. In order to work offline, the point of sale preloads all the product prices as computed by the server, based on a product quantity of 1.

To solve this issue, and keep offline working we need to re-implement the pricelist engine in the point of sale. This is not a trivial task, and it will not be done for 8.0 - unless patches are provided of course :)

@fvdsn Thanks once again for clearing this issue.
I guess that a fast and dirty solution for it is to create a separated price list with desired target prices and set POS module to use that instead of default public price list.

I have just been asking the tech guys about this also as I have three price lists which are essentially breaks based on purchasing... 1. Less 10% 2. Less 20% etc...
In POS, the pricelists do not pick up the details based on the customer, it just lists the POS price, and if you apply a price list to the point of sale, it converts all the prices based on the price list.

Only way to have the options concurrently available, is to setup two POS terminals and have one with a price list and one without. OR... You could even set up the POS in two separate browsers (not just windows... i mean Chrome AND Firefox (e.g)) with separate logins and POS terminals... Chrome has the normal retail POS prices and Firefox has the 10% pricelist applied. maybe create aptly named logins so it easy to remember which is which.

maybe in Ver 9?? lets hope.

@mfaheemkhan6 I can confirm that pos_pricelist works exactly as advertised for per-customer pricelists. I haven't tested global quantity-based pricelists, but I'd wager that they work too.
