My device is blocking on "Checking for Kali Chroot in installer.. this can take a while 90.0% -
Extract: /data/local/kalifs-full.tar.xz"

Tried 2 times the aroma installer on my nexus 5. After 20+ minutes on this screen, the phone reboot (normally ?) without saying anything. The device and nethunter seems to work.

When I start my device an icon is missing on the dock. I've Phone, ("?"), Chrome, Camera.

Does this mean a successful installation ? Is there something missing ?

EDIT : When my device start the first time, a notification shows "boot ended, all fine, Action performed. Nethunter chroot is not installed. OK"

Console output :
Installing Kali Linux Nethunter
Installing '/sdcard/kaliNethunter.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Starting AROMA INSTALLER version 3.00
(c) 2013-2015 by amarullz.com
Installing Kali Linux Nethunter DONE!
Rebooting into Kali Linux Nethunter
error: no devices found
Everything is installed. Phone should be booting up! Enjoy

This a known error with Aroma installer (not LRT). If you left your device on for a bit it would have finished install but the progress bar would have never finished. So it "should" have been successful. I would say go to chroot manager and download chroot if it didn't install.

I'm going to close the issue because it's not related to installer but I can answer any questions still.

Yeah, I've waited for about 2 hours now, it's getting me worried. Should I abort the installation by hard power off?

Could somebody please post an updated How-To for installing nethunter onto the oneplus one? Every video or article I have watched or read has ended with partial install. Right now I have the OPO rooted, twrp latest version installed, CM12.1 installed in TWRP and Nethunter flashed into the CM12.1 as per direction from one of the more recent videos. When I boot, I get the Kali Nethunter boot (flashing Dragon with "Kali" below it)..then says android booting and I get a regular CM 12.1 background, not the nuthunter background from most videos. The Nethunter app and actually no apps were there after fully booting up, other than phone and calendar...typical phone apps. I had to install the Nethunter App to get it onto the device. Now, it's trying to download the kali chroot....which it did once, but won't install. Says "error in the file integrity check: Error: Bad Checksum"....please help!!!

@choas0422 If you didn't solve the problem , you could try this : offensive-security/kali-nethunter#517 (comment). I hope this will help.

This is only a display problem if you chose to install SuperSU. If you can read fast enough (or if there is a pause), you'll see a message saying:
"Installing SuperSU
SuperSU may lock the Aroma installation display
Installation will continue, turn off/on in a minute."
