[bz#869]

Mystic reports:

I should mention that I still have to use -gfx sdl for it to even work at all.

Mystic cannot run at all using the default backend gfx_directx, and he has to use -gfx sdl

(collecting more information...)

Wait, is this an input issue? Or just a failure to run altogether?

If failure to run, what graphics card? What driver version (if that can be obtained)? Is it on a non-primary display (cloned displays are ok)? Does it crash?

And, if it isn't crashed, can he still run the Options dialog?

Okay, Mystic provided more information, and I have adjusted the description of this bug accordingly.

It slows down to an unusable speed. It literally takes seconds to move to the
next option in any menu, or move the cursor in the maptile editor, or anything.

I use two monitors, not cloned.

Are there certain actions that consistently produce these results? Or does it just happen over time?

I'll write up a test program in the next 3 days to run with the gfx_directx.dll.

I just realized that I filed this bug twice. Sorry for not paying attention to what I am doing! :)
