  1. Removes encoding for angle brackets, a mess.

This is something I want to eventually improve, but for now, fuck it.

  1. No longer deletes boneyard and notes

    olivertaylor committed Mar 1, 2018
Instead of removing boneyards and notes, textplay now removes newlines in
those elements. This helps prevent inadvertant transformations later on.
  2. Adds escaping for angle brackets

Amazing that I managed without this for as long as I did.

  1. Adds support for revision marks via diffs

    olivertaylor committed Dec 7, 2014
Textplay can now read unified diffs as input (see docs), and
process the diff into a screenplay with highlighted revisions.
This update makes extensive changes to almost every part of
    textplay to enable this feature.
Processing diffs into FDX files is not supported. This will be
addressed at some point in the future.
Because I couldn't figure out the CSS to render traditional
revision marks, textplay simply highlights revised lines in
yellow. Which, frankly, looks a bit better.

  1. Strip DOS style line endings in input file

    Joeboy committed Nov 20, 2014
Was momentarily confused because textplay was just passing my script through unmodified (except for header/footer). Turned out to be because my file (exported from celtx in Ubuntu) had DOS line endings. I don't do ruby, but this simple fix works for me.

  1. Removed PDF conversion and all file input/output

    olivertaylor committed Oct 22, 2014
All of textplay's previously built-in file input and output
functionality, and conversion (via 3rd party) to PDF, can be
accomplished using standard Unix redirects on the command-line.
Reproducing this inside textplay itself was cumbersome and unnecessary.
Textplay will remain a more Unix-like tool.
