Proposal for the first step in implementation of new Web Viewer.
Drawing together mockups and feedback from the conceptual design and brainstorming issues opened over latest few months.

Scope:

  • core of viewer
  • thumbnail display of dataset on left-hand side
  • right-hand pane - retractable - with tabs for:
    • Settings
    • ROIs (implementation part of step 2)
    • General (probably not step 1 J-M)
    • Acquisition (probably not step 1 J-M)

Settings Tab Right-hand Pane (default)

Shows viewing of 512px image at 100% with RH Pane open and Settings tab selected.

Detail of drop down menu options in Settings tab:

  • Save to All
  • Colour picker with LUT.

Viewing large - 1024px - image zoomed to 120% with right-hand pane collapsed.

LUT:

  • one point to clarify when a lut is selected. When a color is selected, the background color of the button is modified. For lut, that could be trickier, do we generate a color of the fly?

I don't think General/Acquisition tabs are part of step 1. cc @gusferguson
We should focus on settings first

@gusferguson
Information about the plane viewed i.e. plane info is missing. i.e. what is the time for t=5 for example.
This is important to have such info. insight uses the bottom part of the window to show it

Histogram interaction:

  • Select the Show histogram checkbox to show/hide the histogram
  • Histogram displayed corresponds to the channel currently edited.
  • Adjusting the channel input interval should update the vertical lines of the histogram

General and Acquisition Tab sections removed.

@jburel - is it a good idea to delete the comments I have addressed to reduce clutter?

@gusferguson: sorry I missed your question. We can remove the comment since we will use this doc as the ref "final" doc.
