If no LESS file has been spotted in the enqueue mechanism and a style.less file is present in the root directory, it should be automagically enqueued.
This behavior should be configurable through WPLessConfig class and a config constant.
I don't think this is a good idea.
Likewise, a style.css is no enqueued automatically, so why should this work with less then?
The Theme has to be modified to support wp-less anyway, like, use a .less file. It's not too much asked of a theme developer to enqueue his very own less files.
Hence the documentation and the frontpage of the plugin seems quite explicit, some people still don't use wp_enqueue_style in their theme to load stylesheets. I guess I wanted to do that for this purpose. To be even simpler.
But yep, agreed. That's good not to implement features on the go, it let time to think about it ;-)
