I think it would be cool to also click on the butterworth filter configured such that it filters out the higher order harmonics to show the remaining pure-ish sine wave at the fundamental frequency.

I'm going to approve this as it is though, and you can decide what you want to do.

We need more examples of "real world behavior", but this is a good start.
