Use Case

As a potential participant, I want to be able to offer a discounted price (e.g. 30% off) if the booking is for children's use.

Why is this not covered by existing properties?

Offers only allow an absolute, fixed price.

Proposal

In addition to offering absolute pricing for certain slots, also offer discounts on pricing depending on certain properties (e.g. 50% off for kids).

Would this just be a case of having 2 offers: one for full price and one for the discounted price?

Great idea. The only implementation I'm aware of that already does this is England Netball (openactive/implementation-tracker#109), which currently uses eligibleCustomerType (proposal: #80) in addition to standard schema.org properties and values.

Would something like the below work for this or do you think we need something more specific?

Looks good - I guess that simply specifying what the price would be when the discount is applied is fine.

I was thinking that the discount would be automatically applied to all facilities owned by a particular company, without having to specifically add the discount to each facility. However, I understand that this wouldn't really work in this case.
