What issue are you seeing?

On macOS, I occasionally encounter an issue where the chat input field stops accepting Korean input.

Symptoms

  • The input field appears active and focused.
  • English input continues to work normally.
  • Korean input via the macOS IME does not appear in the chat input field.
  • The issue occurs intermittently and is difficult to reproduce consistently.

Expected Behavior

The chat input field should accept Korean IME input whenever it is focused.

Actual Behavior

The input field accepts English input but does not accept Korean IME input.

Environment

  • App: Codex Desktop App
  • OS: macOS
  • Input Method: Korean IME (2-Set Korean)
  • App Version: [fill in version]

Temporary Workarounds

The issue is usually resolved by one of the following:

  • Clicking outside the app and then focusing the input field again
  • Switching the input source between English and Korean
  • Restarting the Codex app

What steps can reproduce the bug?

When the app loses focus and you return to it, the bug occurs.
