jr:choice-name cannot tolerate a blank value for its first argument #921

Originally reported on Google Code with ID 920

The user was trying to use jr:choice-name to display the name of an earlier selection

it fails unless it has a guard to ensure that a value was selected.

This is no longer required in ODK Collect 1.4.3
