Is sparse coding is possible with openimaj? If yes. Then how..? what would be the way when you have the bag of visual words and need to apply sparse coding.

Currently not (except for the extremal case where you have a maximally sparse representation with a single activation, which would correspond to finding the single closest codeword).

A regularised (L1/L2) sparse coder would be an interesting addition for the future....
