It looks like the resolution constraints are not handled in the same way when mouse-wheel zooming in Firefox. In both Chrome and Safari, the map looks to be constrained to integer zoom levels (you know what I mean). In Firefox, wheeling leaves the map at a fractional zoom level (you know what I mean). And often in Firefox, mouse-wheeling has no effect.

  • open the simple.html example in Firefox (I've got 21.0 running here)
  • try to zoom out by wheeling out just a small amount
  • see the map stutter a bit and then land at a resolution that is not a native tile resolution

Probably the same issue as #436.

I'm interested to have a look at that.

I'm interested but I don't have a Mac and mousewheel zoom works correctly in FireFox Linux.
