Please do work for this task in a branch called issue-62.
This is a task list for OPQBox3:
Prelude: We need to evaluate a replacement for RPi Zero W, and pick a stable KiCad version for this design.
- Evaluate C.H.I.P. Pro SBC. Vendor contacted.
- Pick a KiCAD version for development. We will be using KiCAD 4.0.*
- Find a new vendor for SBC. (on board WiFi; see Serge for other specs.)
Schematics: We need to create and commit the OPQ KiCAD libraries containing OPQBox3 component decals. Next we will migrate the schematics form Pads Schematic Tool to KiCAD.
- Create/Import component decals.
- Migrate schematics to KiCAD.
- Schematic Design Review.
Layout: We need to create and commit the OPQ KiCAD libraries containing OPQBox3 component footprints. Next we need to pick an enclosure to fit the new design. Finally we will migrate the layout form Pads Schematic Tool to KiCAD.
- Import the minimal feature size for vias and traces for Seeedstudio service into layout tool.
- Pick a UL listed enclosure.
- Layout High Voltage section.
- High Voltage Design Review.
- Layout Low Voltage.
- Low Voltage Design Review.
Final Review: We will perform the final review of the PCB and Schematics and perform DFM.

Documentation: We will update the documentation for the new design.
