Open Source Battery aims to develop a battery for powering electric vehicles.
Like Open Source Software the Source Code of the Open Source Battery will be freely available. In the case of a material good Source Code means every bit of information that is necessary to produce this good – it becomes a piece of Open Hardware.
The knowledge about the Open Source Battery will be a public good.
