Rendering of landuse=garages

Recently landuse=garages has been approved for areas occupied by individual garage boxes. See proposal page for details http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/tag:landuse%3Dgarages
There's a way tagged accordingly: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/40802556
According to [http://tagstat.hypercube.telascience.org/tagvaluedetails.php?tag=landuse&value=garages tagstat] there are 260 areas tagged alike.

Just wondering if (ever) osmarender would render these areas in greyish/blueish colours preferably

Why not tag them as building=garage? Instantly renders with all renderers too.

landuse=garages is for tagging the whole area, building=garages is for tagging individual buildings. There are cases when buildings cannot be tagged due to bad quality/absence of satellite photo, and anyway the area should be marked as well. Quite the same thing as, say, landuse=residential and building=appartments.

(In [18947]) render landuse=garages in z15-z17. Fixes #2447
