[amenity-symbols] Please render ford=yes

Currently it is only possible to render nodes tagged as highway=ford, it would be nice to be able to accurately tag the actual width of fords and have the highway render with a light blue tinge, or something similar.

I would like to supply a patch but I'm not sure how to get the "ford" column exported (== default.style patched as well) for nodes and ways. Any way I could add the needed changes to my patch, LDP? (Same question applies for my patch adding support for public transport scheme which would need "bus", "public_transport", "rail", "subway", columns etc. to be exported as well)
