IP blocked

Hi,

I am working with the nominatim OSM but now my IP is blocked. I haven't noticed that I should include my emailadress to the request.

How is it possible to continue my work?

Hi,

thanks I just notice the policy. Sorry for that.

My IP is 213.178.64.5

Can you help me how to get a postcode for a street? I had quite difficulties to relate a postcode,state and country to a street. Just if I had in a streetnode a zipcode I was able to relate it. Then I came to the idea to make a nominatim request which wasn't the best idea.

I've unblocked your IP.

I'm afraid at the moment there is no structured output from OSM - most roads are not explicitly labelled with a postcode / zip code. For US zip codes you are probably best downloading a copy of the US zip code list and importing it into your own database.
