[amenity-points] Swimming pools are not visible if surrounded by a leisure=sports_centre area

Mapnik rendering on OSM website.
If a swimming pool is defined as either leisure=swimming_pool or amenity=swimming_pool, then it is not visible if the swimming pool polygon is inside a polygon defined as leisure=sports_centre. i.e. the 'blue' of the swimming pool is not rendered on top of the 'green' of the sports_centre. leisure=pitch polygons are rendered correctly in this situation, so swimming pools should be treated the same as those.

There should be a swimming pool visible inside the "Hathersage Swimming Pool" (leisure=sports_centre) area. The adjacent bowls pitch (leisure=pitch) inside the "Hathersage Bowling Club" area (leisure=sports_centre) 'is' visible.

This issue also appears to be present when a polygon is tagged as amenity=swimming_pool and is within a school boundary.
