The lanes field shows the value "1" if the value is unset, with non-obvious "unset" text to the right.
This isn't very obvious. It looks at first glance as though somebody has added the value as "1" rather than that it is unset. It is easy to miss the "unset" text, especially on a default 1024x768 resolution screen where it goes off the edge of the panel requiring the user to scroll across to see it (see attachment).
It would be much better as something similar to the drop-down menus, which are clearly "unset" until they are set with a value.
