add support multi-language

Hello,
I will develop to allow the application to be multi language.

My question is whether this is raised in any way in the project?
How should I develop it following a guideline or using a especific library?
What library do you recommend to make the multilanguage app?
Is there any thread where this is talked about?

Hi @geopamplona, this is on our roadmap, but we do not currently have a specific project funding this effort. We are certainly open to pull requests. If you want to outline an approach here, we can come to an agreement on the basics for what might move quickly through the review process

Hi @landonreed How much compatibility in declared/used phrases is there between OTP-RR and OTP/client .po/.js locale files already made?

Hi @mpaine-act, we haven't audited otp-rr's compatibility with messages from the original OTP js client as of yet. I recall some discussion early in the project with @demory about extracting the locale files into a separate isolated project, but I don't recall all of the implications from the OTP project's license (though I believe there were considerations).

Oh, I didn't consider licensing differences. Either way, i18next is probably the safe foundation in case I started some work on this.

Closing this issue, as it has been fixed by a range of PRs, from #430 to #613 with ongoing tweaks.
