Overview

The HSFS distributions are build and hosted by OpenSUSE Build Service (OBS). Generally you can go to HSFS project page to exam all the HSFS package(s) on all the supported platforms

https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=home%3Afengshuo%3Ahsfs

If you are not familiar with (or interested in :-) OBS, you can directly install the package by the provided steps on following systems.

Systems with YUM

You can use the quick commands in following sections to install HSFS. Or you can also add the HSFS .repo file to your YUM conf directory first, and then (also in future) run:

yum update hsfs

RHEL/CentOS

The HSFS .repo file for RHEL/CentOS 6 is at:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fengshuo:/hsfs/CentOS_CentOS-6/home:fengshuo:hsfs.repo

So you can use the following command to install it

yum -c "http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fengshuo:/hsfs/CentOS_CentOS-6/home:fengshuo:hsfs.repo" install hsfs

Fedora

The HSFS .repo file for Fedora is at:

For example, on fedora 17 you can use the following command to install HSFS:

yum -c "http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fengshuo:/hsfs/Fedora_17/home:fengshuo:hsfs.repo" install hsfs

Systems with Zypper/YAST

You can use the zypper command lines in following sections to install HSFS. Or you can also add the HSFS repo to your YAST to get better GUI installation support.

SLE

The repo directory for SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) is at

For example, on SLE 11SP2 you can use the following command to install HSFS:

zypper -p http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fengshuo:/hsfs/SLE_11_SP2/ -v in hsfs

OpenSUSE

The repo directory for openSUSE is at

For example, on openSUSE 11.4 you can use the following command to install HSFS:

zypper -p http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fengshuo:/hsfs/openSUSE_11.4/ -v in hsfs

There are also HSFS openSUSE Factory/Tumbleweed builds in the OBS project.
