This problem claims that one can "verify" the limit of an infinite sequence by checking only four terms! The updated version in PR#1322 fixes that, and the issues that you raised. I have attached a hardcopy that shows the new version (both "problem1" and "problem2" are the same in the hardcopy -- oops! there really is only one version
