In order to being aware of new publications about patch clamp experiments, new biological studies related to ion channels in C. elegans, etc in an automatic way, we need a procedure (something like a RSS feed reader with text mining abilities!). then we can augment it by some alerting (mailing) system.

Google notifications will probably give us decent mileage. Would be a nice simple project also for a newcomer to write a script to periodically search the Textpresso C. elegans section.
