Describe the bug
My Afoundry EW1200 was running fine on an old stable release. Today, I went to update it with a sysupgrade image and now it's stuck in a boot loop. After hooking it up via a serial interface, I can see the following:

The system never boots, it fails with LZMA ERROR 1 when attempting to decompress the kernel image.
Expected behaviour
The system should decompress the image fine and complete the boot process.
