tr1cks:

I see it as email notification about security events.

Examples of security events:

  • Attempts to bruteforce SSH password.
  • Appear unknown MAC's in network.
  • Deauthentication attacks on Wi-Fi.

Monitoring is very important part of security.

dlang:

LEDE includes many tools that can do these things, what exactly are you asking for here?

tr1cks:

I am advanced user of OpenWRT/LEDE with many years experience. My firmware is very customized, but I never heard about this tools. If they exist, maybe it's a problem with documentation and popularization. I think that so necessary part of configuration deserve separate page or even chapter and must have easy setup out-of-the-box.
