Device: Belkin F9K1115 v2
Software version: OpenWrt 18.06.0-rc1, LEDE after r3466-f6907dc

Unable to use wan port on any new software version (last known working LEDE version is r3466-f6907dc).
DHCP is not getting ip address. After setting up static ip address there is no network communication.

There were 3675 commits between r3466-f6907dc and OpenWrt 18.06.0-rc1. So far I wasn't able to spot anything suspicious and it's quite unlikely that anyone will be able to find the single offending commit in the 3675 commits.

Your best bet is to do a git bisect between f6907dc (r3466 good) and 367513f64a1e597e00e7bc9cf73866533f668482c4fa (OpenWrt 18.06.0-rc1 bad).

Wan port is not working after this commit: https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=commit;h=967b6be118e3217e8d6a28df9c615d3255e7b1ae

OpenWrt 18.06.0-rc2 compiled without this changes in ar8327 is working correctly.

I can confirm reverting that commit fixes the wan port for me.

Thanks for doing the bisect! Looking at the mentioned patch, the commit message says:

Finally, AR8327 reserved register fixups are disabled for the AR8337.

But the ar8327_phy_fixup is removed from the ar8327_chip struct instead of the ar8337_chip one. Either the commit message is wrong or the wrong line is removed.

Would any of you please test if the attached patch fixes the issues.

Thank you for the patch but there is no effect after applying changes.

hi I have updated the firmware to 18.6, I do not have DHCP working. Resetting does not solve the problem. As with 17.01.5. How was it possible to release the final one with a critical bug?

jow-:

As with 17.01.5. How was it possible to release the final one with a critical bug?

Quite simple, no developer has access to the hardware and it was not reported in the rc phase or in the prior months.

I've [[https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/958583/|staged a (revert) commit]] to fix the issue. Tomorrow the 1 week grace period is over and I'll commit it.

In the latest version 18.06.04 the problem is still not fixed. dhcp is not working!
