Thanks for your contribution to OpenWrt!

  • I'll sort the patches names after more tests, HDMI just displays a blank screen

  • everything is working

  • on mmc.boot script, don't know the proper way to pass earlycon address as a variable to the script

  • on rk3328, u-boot needs python-dev and swig ! I'll try so see if this can be bypassed

  • sound and infrared is not working sound is detected but no output

  • hdmi sound not working on my Harman Kardon AVR, is working on my hdmi stereo monitor speaker

Patches directory needs some love, both filenames and descriptions (backports, hacks etc).

still don't know how to build u-boot without python-dev and swig, I'll ask on pine64 or u-boot

added the proper patch for u-boot without libfdt

I've added lzma compression to the kernel but unable to understand how should I pass it to the uboot script so I used the lzmadec function in uboot to uncompress it first in memory then boot normally
@Manawyrm can you test this PR with your board and see if rk3399 boots ok ?

Could you change it to apply the full patch (incl. RK3399)? This change sounds very relevant for OpenWRT; altough I didn't observe the behaviour in my setup yet, I think we should include it.

@Manawyrm please try this update, I want to test something with the boot script or maybe you could give me the echo $stdout from your uboot

from what I read about TX it seems that it exhibits only on Rock64, but without it I have like 200-500mb/s vs 940mb/s

For the basics you only need the patch that enables the USB3 port, and for the boot script the R2S can be used.

I would like to wait for @hauke to add swig mandatory for SDK (as per mail on the mailinglist) so we wouldn't have to add the additional files to uboot and also what should I do with complete board support ?
should I add only the basics and forget about audio and video ?

@lucize Don't have any idea. I just found that this is still open and could not deduce the status from recent comments. So, it's still "work in progress", as it appears ...

Works for me, it would be nice if we have an initial working patch. And most Openwrt platforms does not have video/audio anyway.

rk3328: add Pine64 Rock64 board and make sdcard-img universal

ROCK64 is a credit card sized Single Board Computer powered by Rockchip RK3328 Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 64-Bit
Processor and support up to 4GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 memory.
It provides an eMMC module socket, MicroSD Card slot, Pi-2 Bus, Pi-P5+ Bus, USB 3.0 and many others peripheral
devices interface for makers to integrate with sensors and devices.

To install OpenWrt write the resulting image to the sdcard,
an image for the onboard spi flash is out of this scope for now.

Swig was added to build bots not long ago, for the 5v there is a patch

It seems there should be some better handling of missing swig installations, I'll think about that.
